From Wikipedia:
"Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world."
Personally, I think abstract is mathematical nirvana! It relates to the mathematical basis for all things.
Also from Wikipedia, abstract art can be slightly, partially or totally abstract. I'm guessing us math nerds only find totally abstracted pictures to qualify as abstract - having no natural elements identifiable.
As is always my issue with challenges - it is too hard to vote when
1) the subject is too broad (comparing apples, oranges and sunsets)
2) there are too many entries to really do a fair review (50 max - prefer 25)
Tack så mycket
