Yes, this type works on the XZ-1. I ordered a couple of them last year. I disassembled one piece to use only its cable and connector to connect my own trigger device. The only negative point - in my case - was the slow reaction time of the XZ-1 (more as 50 msec) where I expected ca. 10 msec ...
