Nikon SB 80DX as a manual wireless slave ?

Hello all,

is it possible to have the SB 80DX act as a wireless slave which igores the preflashes and sync up to 1/250 s in a system of D300s with an SB 800 as commander on top in i-TTL mode, who is triggering a Sigma 500 DG Super ?

The idea is to have the SB 80DX as a manual wireless slave as a hairlight or on the backdrop.

I'm not sure it will ignore the i-TTL preflashes because I Don't see something like S1 and S2
modes mentioned.
