Sigma 19mm 2.8 -

Sigma just released this lens for E-mount, and at $200 it makes the $600 Fuji 18mm seem very much overpriced.

All the samples thus far look very sharp and contrasty. Yes you lose 1 f stop but I usually use wide angle during day time so it's not a big deal. It's also small, lightweight and performs very well on the Nex7, which is usually not kind to wide angle lenses. I bet it will perform similarly on the XPro1.

I hope Sigma release this lens for Fuji soon, glad I didn't buy the 18mm f2.
