Where's a 35 F2 ?
The 35 f/2 can be not only Ok but stellar. I completely agree. I keep thinking about replacing it but with what? At f/5.6, the 35 f/2 starts coming into its own. At f/8 for a landscape lens on FX it becomes hard to beat. At that aperture, it outperforms all the pro grade Zooms including the 24-70 f/2.8 and 16-35 f/4. It's within a hair of the fabulous Nikkor 35 f/1.4.
The only problem is using it wide open at f/2. It is somewhat soft and less contrasty there, but at $350 for a landscape FX lens, it's not so easy to beat.
