Yes, keep the 24-70.... it is real good quality, good dust sealing. Try to rent a wide angle for a while before you decide selling the 24-70.

Using an UWA for landscapes requires special attention in the relation between foreground and background. It is wider both ways, vertical and horizontal which can be boring when nothing special is going on. Personally I love panorama photography. Try stitching some shots with the 24-70, it gives a good spacial feel which works quit well in landscapes. Also a UWA distorts quit a lot at the edges.... you have less of a problem with that with stitched photo's.

Surprisingly there is still no real panorama-sensor
