Crazy to sell the 24-70

I bought the 24-70 because it was recommended as a great all around lens and provided some flexibility and awesome quality, especially in the studio environment, however...

I'm really getting more into landscape photography and desiring a wider angle for more dramatic shots, and for casual shooting and portraits, I get tired of the weight and bulk. Would I be crazy to sell it for the 16-35 VR and add an 85 1.8G (I also have a 50 1.8G). People with lots of $$$ would just keep it and buy an ultra-wide with it, but I'm trying to get the best gear for me and my style with the money I have. Would I be really disappointed with this move? Has anyone else done something similar?

I bought the 24-70 also for its resell value in case this day came. But most people say that if you have it, don't ever sell it...
