HS30 burst significant slowdown after 10 or so images?
Apr 4, 2012

Hi,

I am a long time Canon user, but I was contacted by my friend, who bought Fujifilm HS30 camera. He asked me to help him find out, if his camera is OK, or not.

Simply put - when he takes a burst of images, it takes 10 or so images, and then the camera slows down significantly. He has Class 10 memory card, which is imo fast enough for the camera to write images from memory chache to the memory card.

I don't shoot bursts even with my Canon DSLR, so I am really not sure, if it is kind of normal and expected, or his camera is faulty?

Thanks,
Petr
