Hi,

Interesting topic. I am about to buy a new circ-pol filter for a trip. Contenders are Nikon (same quality as lenses?), Hoya HD (claimed 25% better light transmission) and B&W Kasemann slim (claimed better quality, less vignetting at 16mm and sealed).

Questions:

Is the Nikon the same quality as their lenses?

Does the slim B&W circ-pol vignette at 16mm on a 16-85VR?

Hoya claims 25% more light transmission; does that translate into a higher shutter speed all other settings being equal?

Your views would be appreciated.
