Am I missing something?
Apr 3, 2012

I love my new 5D3, but am confused. My 7D has a button on the back that, if you are shooting in jpg, will make the next shot (or next 3 if you are bracketing) raw.

One of the best ideas Canon ever had.

But it's not on the 5D. At least I can't find it. I must be missing something obvious like "you just push the af & mf buttons simultaneously," and the next shot will be raw.

Because there's no way in the world they would ever roll back such a great and useful idea, right? Or maybe I'm the only one who shoots mostly jpg with some (maybe 25%) raw.

Any ideas?
