DA 35 f 2.4 vrs DA 16 - 45 ?

I'm intrigued with the DA 35 f 2.4.....

I have the DA 16 - 45 and I was wondering what I would gain if I added that lens to my kit ?
I know its much smaller but what about image quality ?
Can someone who has both give me some input ?
How different are they if the zoom is set at 35 mm ?
