Nikon 1 system : no a real 'photographer's camera'?

In many ways the V1 for me has become a return to basics, a small portable system, that is just marginally worse, pixelwise, than my far heavier systems I've been using till now. A very complete V1 system, with all the bells and whistles, and a few 'normal' Nikon lenses, and add-ons, you end up around 2 kilograms of equipment. To cover the same focal lengths (from normal to 400mm), you'll end up with a far heavier kit, no matter which brand you prefer, the MFT systems coming closest.

In low light it isn't the best, but neither is a Leica in low light ;-)!

Yeah, in many ways it is a poorman's Leica, and definitely styled like one!

Only lens missing is a nice wide ;-(!
