I think the D4 Sharpness should have been turned down to 3, but in general, you've sold me on the D4 for cinematography moving forward - it seems to be the clear high ISO winner, and the D800 is showing its tendancy for aliasing all over the brick wall.

Based upon what?

I've shot many a test video on the D4 using the Neutral picture control, which defaults the in-camera sharpness to +2. Everyone complains that image is too soft, so why would you want to make the D4 image even softer by default? That makes no sense at all.
