D800 has 36 megapixels. The 5D3 has 22 megapixels. Of course there's more resolution for the D800.

The problem is, in every side-by-side comparison of the two photos, I have not been able to tell the difference between them!

Rarely I can tell a small small difference, but it's so small that I have to really concentrate and someone has to point it out to me. It's SUCH as small difference that I just find it silly that people care about it so much.

People say that 4fps to 6fps is a minor difference. I agree. But 22megapixels to 36 megapixels is an even SMALLER difference. It's barely noticeable.

If you disagree with me, supply a side by side comparison where the difference is NOTICEABLE. If I have to squint... it's just not a very big difference.
