D7000 my first Nikon camera

Hello every one , I just switch to Nikon and this is my first camera, I shoot canon 7d b4 I just bought 7000 I noticed that when I view max zoom on LCD my picture look very soft, but on canon LCD when I zoom out max picture look sharp. I don't know why is this the Len problem or the LCD problem? I shoot D7000 with kit Len. I still have to learn every thing with this new system, I'm very impress with auto focus of D7000, I'm still not get use with the D7000 about the UI , in Canon I use o lot on LCD for set up and change feature when shooting, on Nikon look like the LCD is alway of, I have to hit info button to see the setting. I hope I will get use to it very soon.
