Hi Brian,
Question : do you need you pictures on a daily basis ? You mention that the project will last for several monts. Do you expect the battery of the camera to last all that time ? (or maybe it will be connected to some sort of AC power ?). If you have to change the battery sometimes you could also swap the CF card (if pictures are not needed on a daily basis).
To be on place at the exact time you need to start the sequence is that difficult ? After all it is just one time and after that it goes on by itself ?
Sorry I can't give you any answers. I think I'm probably just curious about your project.
