Comparing with 5D2, the fuji loses every battle... Maybe raw files give different stories...

It is the lens. Most cameras are tested with a macro like Sigma 70mm. Even at f/8 23mm in X100 or 35mm in X-Pro are not as sharp as a longer macro. They should test the 60mm macro...
