Raina Hein Beauty

Created this with James Powers (JimBobP) during a private fashion photography workshop. Jim wanted to learn more about beauty lighting and beauty retouching. So we put together a 4 light setup with Raina Hein as our model (Kathleen Ty makeup).

Main light was a beauty dish slightly above camera. Reflector board placed under Raina's chin for fill light. Hair light was a strip softbox up high and bouncing light off the hair and into the camera. Background light was a 20º gridded 7" reflector for spot-effect.

Shot on a Jim's 5D Mark II and I retouched it live to demonstrate dodging, burning, skin healing techniques, and more.
