V1 images from a deployed Navy ship

Ahoy, Nikon 1 shooters! I thought I'd share a few images shot with the little V1 on the USS Abraham Lincoln currently deployed in the Arabian Sea. The first 3 images were shot with a Nikon D7000 to put the rest of the images (bottom 5) shot on the V1 in proper context:
I absolutely love this wonderful little jewel of a camera. With the 10-30 and 30-110 lens, the whole combo fits in my NWU's (navy working uniform) cargo pockets. I even have room in my other pockets for the LT-1 and Nikkor 28-300. I've got 27-810 (35 mm equivalent) on me without encumbering the work I really have to do. I am not a "real" photographer on the ship, per se, but have had the good fortune to work with the ship's amazing photographers and Media Department. The Navy shoots Nikons and use mostly D300s, D700s, and D3s around the ship. I had a chance to mount the V1 on a Nikkor 600 mm f/4 VR II (or should I say, the other way around -- mount the lens on the V1) and a sequence of images "testing" the combo begin here:
