Note:

This is on a Nex7, and Klaus is not confident on the 24MP sensor used in the Nex7 due to observed corner softness across various lenses. Has been discussed here before, concluding that the a65/a77 sensor variants do not show that issue, most probably due to a different micro-lens design. And no confirmation from other review sites.

Having said that, the PZ test in summary is rather positive on the lens, but notes the CA and distortions at 16mm as cons - which are taken care off in jpeg and in-cam lens correction on the a65/a77. PZ considers the lens as competitively priced (!!) compared against similar CaNikon offerings. Now that is a welcome change to the usual forum notes on overpriced Sony lenses.
