D800 with 35mm DX 1.8G - 1.2x crop, OOC JPGs 14mp

Hey everyone,

I got my D800 from Amazon today. I'm still waiting for my 50mm 1.8G and 85mm 1.8G, so I used my 35mm 1.8G DX lens in 1.2x crop mode (42mm equivalent). I still don't have software to process RAWs (and am a bit lazy right now), so I took OOC JPGs at medium size (14mp).

All the pictures were shot wide open (f1.8).

I came from a D7000, and I must say this camera is hugeee. It's a bit too heavy for my scrawny hands (fingers). I think it'll take some time to build up some wrist muscles to hold it for a while. I used to hold my D7000 with one hand + 35mm DX easily. Anyway, the AF is good, although the one in the D7000 is good too.

The pictures aren't anything interesting...no modifications whatsoever. The Duracell batteries are ISO 3200 and 6400.
