2. When shooting in Raw, always allow switching to shoot modes that require jpeg, by temporarily switching to jpeg, and for other modes, revert to RAW mode.
Yeap, as I said in initial post, the camera already does that when you use the sweep panorama feature, so I don't see why they lock out other options instead of simply saving a JPG file
Ah well ...
