20-50mm has a loud/grinding focus motor?

I'm wondering if anyone has a problem where the focus motor is louder compared to the 30mm and 20mm pancake lenses and focuses slower. It almost has a grinding sound to it.

I don't want to submit the lens for a warranty repair and they return it saying there is no problem with it.
