Confused btwn Canon 24mm f/2.8 & Canon EF35mm f/2

1) As with so many of these questions, neither is "right"; they're just different.

3) I've contemplated the Canon 28mm and Sigma 30mm f / 1.4 and will probably choose the latter, given its newer design and wider apertures. YMMV. There are a million reviews comparing these two online, and the differences appear to be small.
