Good flash brackets? Anyone try the Promediagear Boomerang BBG bracket?

Has anyone tried the Promediagear Boomerang BBG flash bracket?

It looks like a light, unobtrusive bracket, one I could leave on my camera at all times even for casual use. Here's a video that shows how it works.

I have a Stroboframe Camera Flip Bracket

but my problem with it is that if I don't hold the bracket, it will rotate the flash off center. I can't just hold the camera because when I let go of the bracket to zoom the lens, the weight of the flash & bracket will cause the setup to rotate so that the flash is no longer directly above the lens. If I tighten the nuts on the camera flip bracket, it makes it difficult to rotate, and it still tilts on its own.

I've seen people using brackets like these with the rotating mechanism.

Those seem big and heavy though. Any other small and light brackets I should look at?

I can't use the Stroboframe Quick Flip bracket because in the vertical position, the flash is sideways. I want a bracket that will leave the flash in the same position, only rotating the camera.

Thanks in advance.
