NEX-VG20 - why no sensor overheating ?

The NEX-VG20, which uses the same sensor as the NEX-5N, has no sensor overheating issues. In fact, it can go for 13 hours of continuous shooting, as long as the memory card has got adequate capacity.
The question is, why are the cameras (5N, NEX7 etc) overheating so quickly....in a matter of minutes than hours ? Does the VG20 has that much of a better heat dissipation mechanism, when compared to the stills cameras ?
