A Question about the LX5

I have been thinking of purchasing an LX5, as I have need/desire of a small pocket camera that produces good quality photos and that camera has what I want, esp. the fast lens. I own a DMC-ZS7 and get phenomenal images from it, as long as I am in a well-lit situation. One key issue I have with it, though, is how slowly it comes back to life from 'sleeping.' It must be a good 3-5 seconds before I have control of the camera again. What I want to know is how the LX5 reacts when it is woken up to take more pictures?
