D800 vs. 5D MkIII - night shots at ISO 100 and what does happen...

Ok, my first results are here. It confirms other tests: The D800 has the ability to hold up when shadows are lifted. This is very handy in landscape photography.

In camera settings for both brands: All noise reduction, dynamic lighting, ets off.

Both files processed with ACR 6.7 Beta, then resized in CS5. No other tweaks done.

First the two pics to show the entire frame, then a side by side 100% comparison.The entire frames are heavily reduced in size, hence the banding.
