Sony or Nikon for "pro" use???

I already have two A850 and one A55

...and a Nikon D700, but it needs a new shutter.

Should I sell off my broken Nikon+gear and stick with Sony... hoping that the A99 24 Mpix, is spectacular in october and that the A99s 36 Mpix, is amazing i january 2013.

Or should I abandon the Sonys+gear and fix the Nikon shutter and get me a D800 as backup?

The first case scenario doesn't offer any new tech until october. (boring) Sony poor low light capabilities is the main reason I have kept the D700.

On the plus side, the A99 offers stabilization, video with quick AF, Live view quick AF, and face detection. (Which I already have on A55)

The second scenario would result in a new camera for the summer. Video (but without quick AF), and cash.

On the minus side... No imagestabilization in the house, poor AF for video, (4 fps, which I can live with), no face detection.

Right now I am on the fence. It truly is 50-50

What to do?
