No, that simply says the K-5 gets the highest DxOMark score. But, as DxO themselves are at pains to point out, DxOMark scores don't take resolution into account, and you need to consider both when assessing overall image quality.

DxOMark scores are based on a normalisation of results to 8MP sensors. This means the higher resolution of the NEX-7 is factored in. The slightly higher reduction factor to get to 8MP from 24.3MP (rather than 16.3MP as with the K-5) helps the NEX-7 in terms of noise, but it is not enough to dethrone the K-5.

If you looked at pixel-performance (rather than image performance) the gap between K-5 and NEX-7 would be even higher.

At which point, even when playing DxOMark top trumps you really do have to accept that the NEX-7's substantially higher resolution outweighs its 1 point lower sensor score.

The linear resolution increase is not "substantially higher". It is just a factor of 1.5, a factor that will be inconsequential for most, given the ample resolution of the K-5 and the resolution needs of the vast majority of photographers. The resolution difference is as inconsequential as the IQ differences between the K-5 and NEX-7, BTW. The difference is negligible in all but a very few scenarios. But if one refers to the best APS-C IQ, one should name the K-5 (unless one needs every iota of resolution and is willing to trade in a bit more noise for that).
