macro; Tokina v Tamron

Im looking for a macro lens & am undecided between Tamron 90mm f2.8 or Tokina ad x 100mm f2,8. Have heard good reports on Tamron But nothing on the Tokina. main concern is IQ on general use as well as macro shots. Canon out of my budget range. Am using 600d. Any input welcome. lee uk
