Have $1000. Recommend me a DSLR package.

Hi everyone,

I have the opportunity to work a lot of extra shifts this week. I have taken them with the knowledge that the extra $1000 they will put into my pocket could go towards a long-desired DSLR (my last SLR: a Canon 10s 15 years ago).

So, I ask you knowledgable people to please recommend me the best DSLR package that $1000 can buy. It would be used 75% outdoors on hikes, vacations etc, vs 25% indoors.
