If you can enter a custom paper size wider than 37.5" and the printer doesn't do it than they have a something to fix.
I know that they don't market the printer as being able to do panos. Epson marketing people don't seem to know what the printers can do. They said the 1280 had a max paper length was 44". I print much longer than that. They currently say that the R2000 has a max print area of 13" x 44". According to somebody on this thread the R2000 can do 129". It's hard to know what the printers can do from the specs alone.

there's nothing to 'fix'. It's a design decision by Epson either by engineering or marketing. It's not billed as a pano (ie. roll paper) printer.
If you really want it, then you'll have to find a RIP like BlueCubit or TurboPrint which
replaces the Epson driver.

That's miserable. Shame Epson can't/won't fix it. Can any of the cheaper Epson's do long panos?
