The manual makes no mention of it , but I wonder if you can control the camera via the TV's remote in this way to record video or still shots? As it reads, all that the TV remote will control is the camera's playback, but often I find there are other things it will do, say zoom in or out of a jpeg in playback, for instance, that they don't even mention in the manual but I discover on my own simply from trying.
If I get a chance I'll give it a go.
