DxO Lens review is such a piece of Crap

Just read the review of the PL45 which (according to them) is a very poor performer.

The way they calculate scores is just plain non-sense. They try to make a standard, but instead they completely un-standardize everything.

Resolution score:

"The DxOMark resolution score shows resolution performance of a lens-camera combination averaged over its entire focal length and aperture ranges."

• So, shorter F-stop range, better score. Really makes sense...

• Also, better put your lens on a big-ass sensor, you'll get a better score

They say they 'average' the scores from each area into a final score. What they don't tell you is that again, if your lens has a large range in F stops, your average will indeed be lower than expected because disfraction on m43 starts around F4-5.6, so your scores over that range will suck and draw your average down.

A well, heck, what do I care Just had to vent a bit, after reading the scores while eating a bucket of salt.
