debug mode on a K-x

I understand there is a way to enter the debug menu of the K-x, in order to compensate for backfocussing.
Found the instructions on the net that say:
Create a plain text/ascii file named "MODSET.492" with just one text line in a root folderof your SD flash card:[OPEN_DEBUG_MENU]the line must end with CR/LF (as it is a customary w/ "MS Windows" text files).1.Turn on the camera while holding button pressed.2.Enable the mode through the first menu item "DEBUG MODE" (press "ISO" arrow-buttonto change "DIS" to "EN")..
But it doesn't seem to work.
I made the file, copied it to an Sd card, but no luck.
The camera open with the normal screen, depending on the program mode selected.
What is going wrong ?
Do I have to copy the MODSET file in the DCIM file that the camera immediatly makes ?
I prepare the file with [OPEN-DEBUG_MENU] as a normal text file using wordpad.
Anybody an idea what's goimg wrong ?
