EPSON 2200 Photo
Mar 18, 2012

I've received an Epson Stylus 2200 Photo Printer, and haven't calibrated it yet. I tried printing a photo, and colors were TERRIBLY off. Meaning, there was sort of the magenta missing. Even my 50$ Canon printer did a better job.

I've cleaned the nozzles and cartridges, and on the nozzle check page, as well as print test page, all colors seem to come out.

So is it really so far off and requires severe calibration, or could it be something else?
My monitor is calibrated, of course.

I am planning on calibrating the device, but of course I need to make sure everything else works fine first.
