Olympus cheating with inflated iso numbers?

this is for GF3, the GF2 was different.

besides maybe the cameras for US are normed differently than the ones for europe?

if i shoot with the E-PL3 with iso1600 i can shoot with the GF2 at iso800 with the same values and get a more or less equal image (even in jpeg)
