Non-stop Focusing

Just went from GF1 to GX1 and have noticed that with the 20mm 1.7 on, in AFS of course, that the camera is constantly focusing. This doesn't happen with any other lens. Got to be burning the battery but I can't figure how to stop it. Any ideas? Thanks
