Not bad at all for the first time. Your pictures are sharp and that's often not easy to do with action sports. The main criticism (constructive, of course) is your shooting position which puts the players in a strong backlighting condition. Your camera's exposure meter system "sees" the bright background and stops down your aperture leaving all of your players in the dark. This can be corrected by either shooting from the other side of the field or using spot exposure metering so that you meter exposure only off your players. To do this right you should also be sure you're in single point autofocus with both the autofocus point and the exposure metering point selected as the center point.
Once you've got that mastered, crop your pictures in tighter and pay attention to keeping your horizon level. Check this out for some additional pointers,

Thanks for the feedback. I had to shoot from the other sideline as I could walk up and down it with no obstruction ie the teams and spectators. I will change the settings to single point af.
How do you keep the horizon level? I will read up on the other stuff. Looking to improve my skills all the time.
