A word about the weeklies

Well, that's one way to look at it. Apparently you think of these fora as pugelistic arenas, whereas I see the role of he OP as simply opening a door to allow interested parties to step into the limelight. I have seen postings that elicited no replies. So what? That's a comment in itself.
