Haven't had any real time to take any meaningful pictures and contribute to the wildlife thread and other threads but got some time today to wander about the backyard and snap a few.
Love this lens. The damn thing is pretty sharp even at 2.8 but starts to shine at anything over 2.8. Very, very usable even at 2.8. I tried gimp and some slightly over the top PP for these. All shot as jpgs at fine/12MP setting. No in camera sharpening. Applied little USM in Gimp.
