seriously you should just return the camera and wait for the perfect one.
if the new sensor does resolve the problem. fuji is doing its best to solve the problem. e fuji s2PRO back then had the 'sudden death' sensor that tends to happen after warranty period. i had 2 of them and both died after the warranty period and both sensors were replaced by fuji FOC cos they know its their design fault.
even if fuji didnt replace the x10/xs-1 sensor for exisiting owners, its still good news cos ppl who loved x1 can now buy x2 with greater confidence.
who knows...your ideal perfect camera must be coming out soon...just return the x10 and you will be happier.
