yes true... even before its baked into a RAW it does moire'ed

Moiré is caused by data artifacts that are introduced by the sampling of analog data. That happens before demosaicing, and even before the data is digitized.

Try to get moiré from a multi shot camera...

The only difference is that you don't do any demosaicing (and of course that you shoot one color at the time).
