I am not into flash photography in a big way but wouldn't mind having one and having a mess around with a flash for my a580.
I do not want / need a very expensive one, im not sure if a used one would be a good idea, do these flashes generaly have a life span and are the bulbs cheap to replace? is that something you have to be careful about when buying a used one?
I'd be happy to buy a used one though if it would be fine in general.
What ones are generaly known as being good budget flashes?
The idea of wireless sounds good but not sure if i want to get that much into it, and i am guessing these would be a lot more expensive?
I guess wireless is good though as it means you can setup light sources from where ever you want, would this probably be a big factor if i opted for a static one that sits only on the camera?
Anyway i dont know a great deal about this side of it so any advice would be great
