HS30 & X-S1 Speed and Bracketing

I have played with the HS30 and X-S1 in camera stores, they havee a lot of features and look of interest.

When In bracketing mode they both display three thumbnails. This actions take quite a while. Wondering if this is everyone experience or if there is a way to disable this function. I would rather no display and be ready to move on to the next picture.

Can anyone provide thier experiences.
