while you will increase your depth of field with bigger aperature numbers the laws of diffraction mean that you will be adding a softening effect to your images as you increase the aperture past f9.2 on a 14 megapixel apsc sized sensor. So for optimal sharpness on your lens the depth of field should be perfectly fine landscape wise on f8 which should give you the sharpest overall result on your nx100
