In praise of the K5

Having moved from a K10 to a K5 a few months ago I am so impressed with the improvement in high ISO performance. The following was shot in a poorly lit sports hall at ISO1600. I know that's not really high by current standards but for those of us brought up on 400ASA film it's remarkable. I'm aware the photo is nothing special but the sharpness and lack of noise are light years ahead of my old K10 and a friends EOS50D. For the record, this is crop of a horizontal shot ( about 1/3 of the frame ), lens was a Tamron 70-200/2.8 and it's been through Neat image and slight USM.
