They used to be called "HVstar", and are now called "Maxsaver". They are in Hong Kong. The Kenko polarizers are the same as the $150 Hoya's in the states. Excellent build quality (metal rings). This is not cheap stuff. I shoot in wilderness environments and they have never let me down, and have even saved a couple lenses (falls).

I use the 77mm filter for my 10-20 Sigma. I don't go wider than 12mm in blue skys. The CP can be used in any other scenario from 10-20mm.
