I also just Sold my 400mm F5.6L 3 weeks ago..It was an excellent "sharp wide open" Lens

But as i used it infreqently i decided to sell it especially since having now a very sharp
480MM with the 70-300L it would have been used even less..
I will not buy a lens without IS anymore (except UWA)

Canon new 24-70 2.8L without IS is just plain dumb unless they are also going to release an IS version
